Role Priorities / Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.

2 _ 5 Years

Qualification or Certification required (if applicable):

Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills, Supply Management.Degree or HND in any act relevant courses.
