2017 WAEC Result - How to Check Yours

Students who sat for the just concluded 2017 WAEC examinations are eager to check their result so as to know their fate - It is quite normal to feel that little mixture of both the excitment and fear whenever one is expecting a result as important as this.

Some Nigerians have been worying themselves TOO MUCH whenever they/their ward have written WAEC. They always want to see the result 24hours after writing the exam. That can't be possible!
The question is; why are Nigerian students/parents in such a hurry?

Scammers have used this as an opportunity to scam students and their parent in the name of checking their result for them.  It is pertinent to NOTE here that there is no website to check your result other than the official WAEC website (https://www.waecdirect.org).

2017 WAEC result has been released, students are advised to click on the above link, input their details in the following format:

• Examination no. (Your center number plus your seat number. the total digit should be 10).
• Select your examination year (2017 of course!)
• Select your examination type i.e. Private Candidate Results or school Candidate Results)
• Input your WAEC result checker pin (scratch card pin).
• Input the card serial number
• Click submit to check your result.
• Thank me later. (With a good result, GOODLUCK).
